UNITED NATIONS, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- China on Tuesday called fora holistic approach to UN peacekeeping, stressing the need torespect the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity ofhost countries.


Liu Jieyi, China's permanent representative to the UnitedNations, said the global organization has different priorities andfocuses in the four stages of conflict prevention Cameron Sutton Limited Jersey , peacekeeping,peace building and sustainable peace, which are interconnected andmust be managed in a holistic manner.
